About us
Bengt Persson was born in 1944 in Ormsjö, Dorotea municipality, and grew up on a farm with four siblings. He married Britt, from Tåsjö, in 1971, where the couple also settled.
Over the years, Bengt and Britt, among others, ran the ICA store in Kyrktåsjö together between 1980 and 1987.
Bengt was a clever and inventive man who enjoyed working in the garage on various projects. In 2014, he came up with the idea for an innovative product that he chose to call the Tåsjöglidern. The product makes it easier to park a caravan next to a caravan shed by pushing the caravan sideways against the wall. For those who have their caravan parked next to a caravan shed for a long time, the glider makes the job much easier.
Bengt applied for a patent for his product in both Sweden and Norway in 2015, and the same year production of the Tåsjöglider began in a factory in Dorotea. Bengt designed the product himself and obtained design protection, which secures the exclusive right to both production and sales.
Bengt passed away in 2021, but his product lives on. Now his children Erika Sjödin and Richard Persson continue to run the company in his spirit.
The hope is to continue to make life easier for everyone who has their caravans parked long-term, both summer and winter.
The company is subject to VAT and holds an F tax certificate.
